Hot Yoga Vancouver offers the following yoga classes

Original Hot Yoga 26 & 2

(90 minutes)

This class is perfect for beginners, but always has something to offer even the most experienced practitioner. Original Hot Yoga is the practice that has been transforming lives around the globe for decades. Designed as a sequence, the 26 postures and two breathing exercises are in a hot setting (105 degrees with 40% humidity) This series can open, lengthen and strengthen both your body and mind. Our instructors are professionally trained to help you safely explore and deepen each pose. The pace of the class is steady, with each student in charge of the depth they choose to pursue. For your comfort during class it is best to have not eaten 2-3 hours prior to attending class. Come to class with a mat, towel, full water bottle, and an open mind.

Yin Yoga

(75 minutes)

Yin yoga is a slower paced practice, in a warm, but not hot room. Yin yoga works with the fascia in your body to help open the connective tissue around your knees, pelvis, sacrum and spine. Postures are both seated and supine and are held for extended periods of time ranging from 2-5 minutes. Yin yoga is a perfect balancing practice to compliment more active forms of fitness. This practice focuses on receptivity, allowance and learning the importance of stillness in both body and mind. Because of the deep fascia work, it is important to come to this class properly hydrated. Bring a mat, towel and water.
