Why did you decide to become a teacher?

 Call it a vision, call it a calling, call it what you will; on New Year's Day 2011 after practicing for 9 years, the urge just moved right through me in an unexpected moment and a few months later I was in the Radisson Hotel at LAX sweating it out with 430 of my colleagues. 

 

What do you like best about teaching?  

The absolute presence that it requires in order to be with the room, as it is, in each moment.
